AM I INCLUDED?

VERSE ONE-b:

"...to the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus."

Paul goes on in his greeting by explaining to whom he is writing:

saints at Ephesus WHO are faithful in Christ Jesus.

Does this mean his letter is addressed to only the believers (saints) of Christ?  I think so.  So this would in my opinion mean anyone who were followers of Jesus in the church at Ephesus.

AND who are faithful in Christ Jesus.  Paul's insertion of the conjunction word "and" leads me to believe that he is emphasizing the saints were faithful in Christ Jesus.  In other words, they didn't just give lip-service.  They were actively adhering to and relying in the complete fullness of the living Christ.

So this begs the question, "am I included in this address to the church at Ephesus?"  As a believer in Jesus who purposefully practices the teachings of Christ, I'd have to say, "yes".  How about you?  selahV
