WILL YOU DEFINE GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY?

I am teaching a class on El Elyon, the Most High God in September at a ladies' retreat.  So, I'm looking for everyday folks to define God's Sovereignty in two or three sentences.  I know, I know.  It would take much more.

But this is going to be written on index cards and used to help people see the views of sovereignty and see how their view agrees.  So think of it in terms of simplicity.  As if God's Sovereignty can actually be simple.  I have my definition, but I need others.  Thanks so much.  selahV

IS IT SIN TO DIVORCE FOR FINANCIAL PURPOSES?

Due to the rising financial burdens on seniors and governmental regulations, income caps, institutional guidelines, many seniors and even younger folks are opting for divorce to keep benefits or receive benefits they might not otherwise receive.

Some say man-made laws are not applicable to the Almighty's.  Even if a couple divorces, they are still considered married in the eyes of God.  So therefore, they reason that they can live together without the paperwork to avoid being penalized for being married to receive entitlements.  What say you?
