then it means you might want to know more about me. There's probably a whole lot more information here than you'll want to read. To help you weed through the over 2,500 blog-posts I've written in less than 8 years since blogging became a passion, I offer: (a) a synopsis of who I am. (b) Links beneath my photo on the right may answer some of your questions.
I write several blogs because I like to write on several subjects and have lots of things that come to my mind on any given day--some stuff doesn't fit one site, but each compliments the other.
My name is Hariette Petersen. According to the "White Pages" online, I am the only Hariette Petersen in the United States of America. My moniker is SelahV; you can read about my moniker and how it came to be by clicking on the links beneath my picture to the right (since I chose it, Twitter and other social media sites have sprung up and someone has ripped off SelahV before I could nail it down), so beware if you simply google selahV. Just so you know.
I love to meet new folks via blogging. I've met tons of people and according to my statistics analysis, readers from 57 different countries stop in to take a peek at my site. I look forward to meeting more--especially you since you have taken time to read this much about me.
Presently I write various themed blogs linked to this main blog SelahV Today: My main blog is selahV Today; it's a potluck of my thoughts. Linked to my main blog is:
dailyIMPACT ...a devotional site with more of what God says to me as I read His Word, observe His wonder in my life and the "impact" He has on any given day I draw near to Him. Other blogs linked are:
Feminine Matters, Kids' Matters, Food Matters, Grief Matters and Common Matters.
I've wrote a weekly newspaper column, COMMON MATTERS, for The County Times in Comanche County, Oklahoma. I've written for online collaborative Baptist blogs, SBC Impact, SBCToday, and SBCVoices, and Devotional Christian.
For my published writing history go to YESTERDAY'S HISTORY/here.
Should you want to contact me, just post a comment. That's all folks. For more...let your fingers do the clicking and your eyes do the picking. selahV
Selahv,
Thanks for reading my post at Elect Exiles. Having readers makes blogging all the better. I hope you'll come back around every once in a while.
I'm going to take a look around your blog also.

Dear SelahV,
I am a Christian Author who has released his first book entitled "Under the Lights: Living Their Faith with Everyone Watching". The book is a Christian men's book that focuses on how to become a better man of God by addressing ten problem areas of our lives. In the book, I interviewed many Major League Baseball players who are Christians to get their insights on each topic. I would love to be interviewed on your blog about this book. My email address is [email protected] and my phone number is (336) 684-8512. I hope you have a great night and hope to hear from you soon!
In Christ,
Andy Clapp

Dear Ms. Petersen , I found your writings several years ago and used some of them for a mission devotional booklet. I found some more and used some new ones in a new devotional booklet today. I always give you the credit. Thanks for your inspiring words. I am a pastor of a small church in western PA.
