Always Remembered

Happy 45th Birthday, my son.

Today I remember all the joy and love you gave me and so many others in your short 33 years. I miss your hugs, your calls, and all the detailed accounts of your day.

You're in my thoughts many times throughout each day.    I laugh, I cry, I smile. And always, I thank God for the privilege and blessing He allowed me in being your "momma".

When Plans Fall Apart

You might do well to remember something I read on Pinterest awhile back:

"Sometimes God wrecks your plans when He sees that your plans are about to wreck you."~thesouldoctor

Yeah... sometimes...
and then, sometimes we try to force our plans and push them to meet our desires... and when we do, it is we who get hurt in the end.
I'm grateful God is in the business of mercy.

Praying we all become wiser before we get hurt with the consequences of our choices.
God knows the plans He has for us... and He often sends people to help us make the best decisions and sometimes... we miss His messengers.

May God give us greater discernment to choose the best way.

'For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. 'Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,' declares the LORD..." Jeremiah 29:11-14a
