I can only pray.
He's my brother-in-law. Married to my husband's sister. His name is Mike. He's been through surgery, chemo, radiation, more surgery, more chemo. It started with a small cancer on his tongue, a couple of years ago. He's not doing well at all. He's battled long and hard. On Easter Sunday they took him to the hospital because his legs were swollen so badly. His kidneys are obviously toxicly stressed out. He's a young fifty-something. Very young, full of life. He needs your prayers; he's so tired of taking morphine for pain. His wife needs your prayers. Valerie.
Things look hopeless this side of heaven. So all we can do is pray. May God give them grace to endure, comfort to ease, and peace that passes all understanding as they deal with each new day. For this my heart cries out with words I cannot utter. May the Holy Spirit give meaning and wisdom and send God's perfect will in this hour of hurting and heartache and fear. Be enough, Oh LORD, be enough for them right now. hariette
