TO PLEASE GOD WITHOUT IT.
Isn't it amazing? The tiny helpless bird depends upon his father to feed him. The father feeds him without fail; he knows his child waits. The father knows the child is helpless without him. The child has done nothing to please his father--to win his approval. Yet, the father chooses to love him and feed him and care for him.
I stand amazed that we please our Lord by simply recognizing our need of Him. Every need we have is an opportunity for God to show us His provision, His watchcare, His love. By placing our faith in Him to meet our needs, He is pleased. He knows our need long before we do. He is never surprised.
God is so happy to care for us and fulfill His plan in our lives. No wonder worry is a sin. Why do we fret? selahV
