There are times in life when we are met with the condemnation of man. We face criticism and every move we make is judged. Sometimes the arrows of insult come from every direction, other times it comes at us head on. There is a joy in that, my friends. We must count it all joy when we are encompassed about with diverse trials, and difficulties. Through them we will grow in faith and wisdom and knowledge and patience and endurance. "...In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us." Romans 8:37
There's great victory in knowing that for all the hatred we receive from others, we find the love of God multiplied a hundred-fold. For all the grief we may experience from the world, we have our comfort in Christ. For all the chaos and disruption, we have the peace that passes all understanding. Through all the adversary's persecution we have refuge in Christ our Advocate.
Nothing can defeat us. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38,39.
I pray for you today. May you find God's grace sufficient to meet your needs and abound. May you know the joy of His presence and receive consolation that Christ is at the right hand of God making intercession for you at this very moment. selahV
