Ever want to just bury your head in the sand and shut out the world?
Ever have someone criticize every action you take and judge every word you say (or write in blogland)--and every analogy you use is somehow meant to describe them or someone they know? Ever have to distance yourself from them in every way possible to avoid being accused of attacking them?
Ever wonder if you wrote a post about pickles if that person would think you thought they were a sour-puss? Ever wonder if you wrote about the authority of God that the person would think you were accusing them of having a God-complex? Ever wonder if you should eliminate all words in your vocabulary down to the gurgles and garbles of a two-year-old in order to avoid receiving judgmental meanspirited emails? Ever think you were being bullied and harrassed?
It happens. It happens to people in the blogosphere every day. I have a few friends this happened to. Even at this writing, I have four different friends facing tremendous, needless and useless attacks. Many times they carried on long conversations back and forth and ended up accomplishing zilch. I wonder, what would you do if this happened to you? Do you wonder if you tried to communicate with them that you'd end up where you always have--no where? Would you stop writing what you felt God is leading you to write? Would you stop going where you normally go? After repeated attempts at reconciling differences, prayer and years of patient endurance, what exactly would you do?
