"it is the young preacher men and leaders..." Well I'd throw in some old ones too.

But you shouldn't go there, it doesn't go over well at all.

Don't you know Hariette that it is YOU and I who need revival, who need to "wake up", who need to read the Bible more, pray more, etc. etc.

It is never anyone in leadership.

This I have discovered this weekend by raising that issue, and it has been mightily dismissed with venom...

...by who...

...yep...

...you guessed it...

...people in leadership (even the ones who are friends we have in common).

And all I said was "maybe" or it was "perhaps some" in leadership, so they all should evaluate themselves.

Though that they all assumed I was speaking about everyone in leadership altogether or any one person in particular is somewhat disturbing and telling at the same time.

Go figure.

ah, So true, Johnathan... so very true. No excuse for any of us which is why I say "IN PART" the explosive rhetoric on the internet is "the problem". And my conclusion to the other part of the problem is included in my personal prayer at the end of my post, and so yet, again, it is not the bloggers who need chastizing. In case you missed it, AGAIN I SAY: "Set our souls afire Lord, set our souls afire" Send a great revival to our souls, send a great revival to our souls...let Your Holy Spirit come and take control, send a great revival to our souls."
Blessings brother...praying God brings someone for each of us to lead to Him today. As for me, I'm going to my 15 year-old granddaughter's baptism today and rejoicing in the blessings that HE is giving me through His Spirit. Irony of ironies.
