John H. Gregory

Trememdous post! I DO agree! As the clouds gather I keep looking up for our Lord, but I do NOT stop
working to tell the world & praying for all those who do not
know our Lord & His Joy of their
chance of eternal life in Him.
And even as the world's
situations grow worse my faith
still rests in Him.
God bless,
John G.

Yes, a tremendous post! There is no doubt that apostasy characterizes the current church age ... and it is manifested most clearly in the American church.

One doesn't have to look very far on the American landscape to observe the prayerless, unrepentant condition of the saints. Consequences of our unfaithfulness are evident in every fabric of our society. Hell has launched a tremendous assault on America. Media brush-strokes paint a portrait of a rotting nation ... moral chaos, uncertain economy, leadership crisis. The hedge is down!

The church of the living God is the only institution on the planet that can halt this decay. Yet, heavenly resources to change our wicked course are not apportioned to us because we (Christians) don't humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and repent. Our altars are empty and dry while precious eternal promises go uncollected.

"IF My People ... THEN Will I." But will we?

Max, in short... no.. I do not think we will. some will, but not all. I do believe God is going to protect HIS own yet we will suffer consequences of those who fail to humble themselves and seek His face and pray...and ask forgiveness. Some do not believe we have a need of forgiveness for the atrocities and tolerance of evil that we are doing.
Thanks for dropping by. hariette
