It's an exciting thing to be a Southern Baptist today. All around me I see folks using their gifts and talents to live out the Gospel in everyday life. In coming months I plan to spotlight some of these folks through first-person stories, testimonials and interviews. Today let me share some tidbits of what is to come:
~ A group of seminary students share the Gospel with a collaborative evangelism effort.
~ A senior lady shares the Gospel in a prison ministry in the USA, hands out Bibles in Turkey, and volunteers to work in VBS in Mexico.
~ A Southern Baptist church adopts a Christian School and houses them in their building so they can educate students from a Christian perspective.
~ A blogger shares how blogging fulfills a Gospel call in his/her life.
~ A lady shares how God turned her life around in her senior years by calling her to teach Pre-K children in a Christian School.
~ A story about a mega-church that helps supplement the income of 179 retired Southern Baptist ministers.
~ Stories about small churches within our convention being helped by larger churches.
~ A teenager shares how she has benefited from being homeschooled by her parents.
~AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. Now do you see why I'm excited? selahV
