First I sketched out the letters on a piece of paper.
Then I taped the master to the window and outlined the sketch in soft charcoal on the back side of the original sketch.
Next I laid the drawing onto the burlap material for the aisle runner and took a plastic knife and rubbed over the outline of the letters so that the charcoal appeared on the aisle runner.
Then I painted the outline in fabric marker and then simply filled in the letters with fabric paint.
Finished product was a J & T: THIS WAS PAINTED ON A CREAM-WHITE BURLAP 54 INCHES WIDE. This photo is of the finished piece lying on my dining room table. selahV
