When will you be content? I've thought alot about that as I listened to various things that happened recently. My grandson wants another truck to replace the one that got totaled last week. Folks in Arkansas and Oklahoma want new homes to replace the ones destroyed in tornadoes last week. Yet, one lady who lost everything said she was just happy to be alive. That's all she'd prayed for as she huddled in the closet with her children. When the funnel-cloud passed on, she stood in the midst of rubble with nothing but the walls of the closet surrounding her. She was grateful.
Are we? Are we grateful to be alive? Are we content to live within our means and not seek after more and more? Bigger and better?
"For we brought nothing into the world, and obviously we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we shall be content )satisfied)." 1Timothy 6:7,8.
