...let go and let God reveal or conceal as He sees fit.
The older I get, the more I know there is less I need to know. That is not to say I don't still seek to know, that I have no desire to know. I'm simply saying there are some things, in fact, many things, I'm not suppose to know. Most of my questions in life do more to cause me unrest than the problem or situation from which the questions originate.
"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a thing." Proverbs 25:2.
God chooses what He chooses to conceal from my finite mind. God decides when to reveal to me what He wants me to comprehend. To struggle against that truth is a struggle against God Himself. To accept that truth is to find peace in the turmoil. To rest in that truth in the midst of chaos and trial, brings glory to God, not myself. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not unto thine own understanding, but in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Prov. 3:5,6.
"The secret things belong unto the Lord our God, but the things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever..." Deut. 29:29
Do you find you hunger to know the secret things? Do you find you cannot rest in God's steadfast love for you and loved ones? Let go and let God still the storms. Hold fast to that which you already know: Jesus is with you forever, even to the end of the world. selahV
