“My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord; and let all flesh bless (affectionately and gratefully praise) His holy name forever.” Psalm 145:21
Today there were so many things which blessed my soul. In the midst of a hostage situation at the prison in town, a member in our Sunday School department said, “It wasn’t all that bad, the Lord was in control.” That member was the dentist who was held hostage.
Our church organist shared with me when I hugged her how she wasn’t angry at the person who deliberately shot her husband while he was jogging this week. Indeed she was so grateful that all the rifle’s bullet had done was hit his arm that she couldn’t even begin to be angry. We praised the Lord together.
“Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! While I live will I praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have any being.” Psalm 146: 1,2.
I could tell you story after story from the events of today that blessed my heart and proved the Sovereign Lord was in our midst. But there are too many to tell. How about you? Have you a word of praise? selahV
