"For even the whole creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be known." Romans 8:19
Does this not conjure up an invitation to solitude?
Time alone. Peace. Contentment. Gentle breezes. The waft of lavendar scented air. The diligent robin in search of daily bread. The butterfly spreading pollen from blossom to blossom. The honeybee replenishing the earth and making its bounty of sweetness for freshly brewed tea.
"For the creation was subjected to fraility (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it--(yet) with the hope that nature itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain entrance] into the glorious freedom of God's children." Romans 8:20-21.
All of nature waits for the revealing, the disclosing of God's redeemed. Such celebration of resurrection morning cries out each Spring and begs us join in praise. selahV
